| • Children are like flowers. There are innumerable varieties of children – and they all need care. Each child is intrinsically beautiful, and each stands out in any group.
• Unquestionably, one’s home and one’s school - both contribute to the learning process of a child.
• If only children can be rid of the pressures of unnecessary things and the burdens of having to memorize extraneous information.
• Play is the only expression of development in a child; because that is the only manifestation of matters relating to a child’s psyche.
• Only a child that does anything with concentration and singularity of purpose until it gets tired, will stand out as a resolute personality with a selfless character in its later years.
• The future of a nation does not so much lie in the hands of its rulers or even its scientists, as it lies in the hands of mothers. Therefore, we all must strive for women’s progress. In truth, they are verily the teachers of mankind. Development can not take place without them.
• Playing can not be mistaken for laziness or laxity. It has to be realized as the physical need of a child to understand how things take place or work. Playing is not merely pleasurable – it is also purposeful.
• Every child is unique. It grows in accordance with its own timetable. So there is nothing so useless or worthless as trying to force a child to behave according to a set pattern or to conform.
• For ages, all efforts to cram a child’s brain with knowledge have proved fruitless. It does seem to help temporarily; but there are no long term gains this way.
• Man is a creative animal. The basic difference between mankind and all other living beings is that man is capable of changing his environments. Starting from making ordinary tools to the creation of modern complicated equipments – only man is capable of the miracle of influencing future itself.
• Children should be made aware of their creative abilities. That is their real education.
