Gram-Mangal
  Bilingual Projects
Though, need of the hour is to be English-literate, English is not the mother tongue of majority people in India. Since use of English is spreading all across the world for business communication and technical learning, there is a perceived need to learn English. Often, this happens at the cost of mother tongue. As a result understanding of neither language is thorough. Thus, instead of facilitating the understanding of a subject, language has become the main barrier in a child's understanding process.

We have considered the following points to address the ever expanding knowledge and globalization need through a new concept, Bi-lingual enrichment project:

To begin with, the project is being undertaken on an experimental level, in a few schools in Maharashtra. From November 2009

Many experts and institutions working in the field of languages have participated in the thought process and preparation for the project.

You are also invited to enjoin this great enabling experiment to enrich students in Marathi and, simultaneously improve their English.
